Rules
- The Association shall be known as the Mid-Northants Trout Fishers' Association
- The subscription for the year shall be £10 and thence onwards as fixed by a majority vote at the Annual General Meeting
- Two members shall be appointed annually to audit the Accounts. They shall hold no permanent office in the Association.
- The annual General Meeting shall be held in the second week in March each year. The Committee shall meet as required.
- On receipt of a proposal supported by nine members, that any Extraordinary General Meeting be called, the Committee shall call such a meeting within 31 days
- Members and Associate Members of the Association shall loyally support the Rules of any Water upon which they fish and shall consider it their duty, in the interest of all, to report to the Committee any flagrant breach of the Water Authority's regulations. The Committee shall have full power to act in such cases and may bring the matter to the notice of the Board
- Should a member be disciplined or banned from any Water by an Authority he will automatically be suspended from the Association for a period defined by that Authority or at the discretion of the Committee
- Members must be fully paid up to qualify for events and club functions
- Amendments of any rules except rule 13 shall be by a simple majority vote of the full members at a General Meeting. Rule 13 shall be amended only by a seven-eighths majority vote of the full members at a General Meeting
- The object of the Association shall be to promote the interests of all anglers fishing trout waters and to promote social gatherings of the members and associate members during the closed season
- The Committee shall consist of seven members in addition to the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer and shall be elected annually
- The Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer shall be ex-officio members of the Committee and shall be elected annually
- The Association shall seek to obtain privileges and representation on any trout waters for the benefit of members and associate members
